Global Disaster Relief Fund

Global Disaster Relief FundRecognizing the need in Japan at this time due to the recent earthquake and tsunami natural disaster, and the generosity of San Diego donors, The San Diego Foundation announces the creation of the Global Disaster Relief Fund. The Global Disaster Relief Fund facilitates grantmaking to address the most pressing and immediate needs for survivors of global (non-US) natural disasters. Staff at The San Diego Foundation will conduct due diligence to determine how funds are granted to ensure that the greatest needs of disaster survivors are addressed.

If you are sending a check*, please designate the disaster (e.g. Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Haiti) you would like your funds to address. If no designation is made and/or your donation is made on-line, The San Diego Foundation will grant the funds to support the most immediate global natural disaster at the time a donation is made.
