5th Annual Grant Awards Celebration
October, 2011 - The Escondido Charitable Foundation marked its fifth year of grantmaking with a celebration at Cocina del Charro. Celebration guests had the opportunity to hear about the progress of 2010 Civil Society Grantees, Ubiquitous Music Incorporated and the Tariq Khamisa Foundation. The 2011 grantmaking cycle focused on workforce development and programs that assist job seekers in today's tough economic climate.

October, 2010 - During its 4th Annual Grant Awards Celebration, the Escondido Charitable Foundation recognized six outstanding organizations supporting projects that inspire and strengthen civil society in Escondido.

Spring Membership Reception
April, 2010 - Escondido Charitable Foundation members gatehred at Lexus Escondido's brand new event space to honor Escondido's After the Fires Grants recepients and to mingle with friends and neighbors. ECF Board Member Tom Knight and his band Too Much Fun provided an evening of great music!

3rd Annual Grant Awards Celebration
October, 2009 - Members, guests and nonprofit leaders gathered at the Palomar Family YMCA to celebrate The Foundation's third year of grantmaking. With a focus on Science and Technology, grants went to programs that sought to improve science and math K-12 education in Escondido's schools.
2008
2nd Annual Grant Awards Celebration
November, 2008 - The Escondido Charitable Foundation members, grant recipients, friends and community member gathered at Orfilia Winery & Vineyards to celebrate the second annual grant awards, and provide more than $79,000 in grants to Escondido nonprofits. The grants went to programs that promoted healthy lifestyle choices, with the ultimate goal of making Escondido "One of America's Healthiest Cities."
Escondido Legacy Launch - How Will You Be Remembered?
May, 2008 - In 2007, the community leaders in Escondido launched the Escondido Charitable Foundation (ECF), creating a lasting legacy for the future of their community. Half of every annual membership contribution goes towards immediate grantmaking, and half goes into an endowment that will support Escondido causes forever. In May 2008, ECF members and guests gathered to learn more about how to leave a legacy in Escondido through the Escondido Charitable Foundation's Endowment.

2007
Escondido Charitable Foundation Grant Awards
November, 2007 - Community members, grant recipients, friends and members of the Escondido Charitable Foundation gathered at Orfilia Winery & Vineyards to celebrate $90,000 in grant awards available exclusively to Escondido nonprofits and causes. The event highlighted the nonprofit grantees and the work they do in the community. In its first year of grant making, the Escondido Charitable Foundation presented grantees their grant awards in the areas of youth education or youth services.
Escondido Charitable Foundation Launch
January, 2007 - Community leaders from across the spectrum of local business, philanthropy and public service gathered at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce on January 25, 2007, to celebrate the success of their efforts in creating the Escondido Community Foundation.
